Crud Day Cancelled

March 23

The City of Euless will be cancelling Crud Day on Saturday, March 23. Thunderstorms are predicted in the morning and environmental regulations will not allow hazardous waste to be unloaded during rain due to the potential for spills to go down the storm drain. In addition, it is not safe for our volunteers to unload cars outdoors during severe weather.

The Environmental Collection Center in Fort Worth will be open from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday and is able to accept hazardous materials. Please bring a water bill or driver’s license to show proof of residency. They can NOT accept electronic waste.

Electronic Waste may be delivered to United Electronic Recycling, 505 Airline Dr. in Coppell. They accept the following items: https://unitedelectronicrecycling.com/items-we-accept/.

*They charge a disposal fee of $5 for CRT monitors, printers, copiers and fax machines, $10 for TVs under 32 inches and $20 for TVs 32 inches and larger.

In addition, there are Euless retailers that will accept specific items at no charge. Please view this brochure for a complete list.

We apologize for the inconvenience but we think this is the best way to make sure our volunteers stay safe.
